One half of this stone is a rich, warm golden yellow. The other is a deep teal-green that darkens toward the pavilion. The two colours meet in a line that runs through the centre of the oval — not blended, not gradual, but distinct. The kind of zoning that makes a parti sapphire what it is at its most fundamental.

0.90 carats in an oval brilliant cut. 6.80 x 4.90 x 2.60mm — a shallow depth that spreads the colour across a generous face-up surface, allowing both zones to be seen simultaneously from above. Unheated. Australian origin.
