Ring Sizing Guide
Getting your ring size right matters — especially for a piece made to order. Here is everything you need to measure accurately at home, with a full international conversion chart.
Measuring With String Or Paper
The most reliable at-home method. All you need is a thin strip of paper or a piece of string, a pen and a ruler.
Wrap the paper or string snugly around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on. It should sit comfortably — not tight, not loose.
Mark the point where the paper or string overlaps with a pen. This marks the circumference of your finger.
Lay the paper or string flat and measure the length in millimetres from the end to your mark. This is your finger circumference.
Use the conversion table below to find your ring size in Australian, US, UK or European sizing.
Measure Three TimesFinger size changes throughout the day — fingers are slightly larger in the evening and in warm weather. Measure at the end of the day for the most accurate result. Take three measurements and use the average.
Measuring An Existing Ring
If you already own a ring that fits the correct finger well, this method is even simpler.
Place the ring flat on a ruler or piece of white paper.
Measure the internal diameter of the ring in millimetres — the distance across the inside of the ring from one inner edge to the other.
Use the diameter column in the conversion table below to find your ring size.

Tips For An Accurate Fit
Fingers are slightly larger in the evening and in warm weather. Measure at the end of the day for the most accurate result — never first thing in the morning.
Cold temperatures cause fingers to contract. If you measure in winter or air conditioning, your measured size may be slightly smaller than your true comfortable wearing size.
Wider bands fit more snugly than narrow ones. If your setting has a band wider than 6mm, consider going half a size up from your measured size for a comfortable fit.
If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, size to your knuckle so the ring can be put on and taken off comfortably — it will sit slightly loose at the base.
Take at least three measurements on different days and at different times. Use the average for the most reliable result.
If you are between two sizes, size up. A ring that is slightly too large can be resized down more easily than one that is too small.
