The Ella Trilogy is the boldest expression of the trilogy form in the Ruhuna collection. Where other trilogies whisper, the Ella announces. The high-set intertwined basket lifts the centre stone above the hand, maximising light entry from every angle and allowing the sapphire's colour to radiate with an intensity that flat settings cannot replicate.

The stone at its centre is a 2.08 carat unheated Intense Ceylon Blue sapphire — a colour that sits deeper and more saturated than cornflower, closer to the pure, vivid blue of a clear sky at its darkest point before dusk. Ceylon origin. Unheated. Rectangular cushion cut, selected for its ability to carry colour across its full face without loss.

Two pear-shaped diamonds provide the trilogy's flanking presence — 0.50 carats total, chosen in F-H colour and VS1-VS2 clarity for their ability to frame the sapphire with brilliance without drawing the eye away from it. The taper of the pear shape creates movement and direction, making the ring feel alive on the hand.
