OUR STORY

Our name, Ruhuna (රුහුණ, ruɦuɳə), pays tribute to one of Sri Lanka’s most ancient and culturally rich kingdoms. Once a powerful centre of trade, resilience and artistry in the island’s southern region, Ruhuna (also known as Rohana) was famed for its natural abundance and deep spiritual traditions. It is from this historic land - shaped by kings and temples - that we draw not only our name, but our values.
